Looking for a Sous Chef for new opening restaurant !

The Sous Chef s role is to assist the head chef in the responsibility of all areas of the kitchen including managing the kitchen staff, training, all areas of kitchen hygiene and compliance, kitchen maintenance and stock control. To be fully in charge of the planning, execution and follow up of the kitchen standards to the required Nova standards. The Sous Chef must be a leader, organise the kitchen team in the cleaning of the premises, following Vu Lounge standard operational practices. S/he must enforce the culture of passion and enthusiasm for delivering food to the highest quality. The Sous Chef is a role model to all new employees and cultivating an excellent working partnership between the restaurant team and kitchen brigade.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with Managing all of the food safety & management
Assist with Managing all of the food stock at the Nova
Assist with Managing all areas of Cleanliness and organisation in the back of house areas.
To work with the restaurant team to understand guest expectations
To consistently follow the correct practicesk and procedures as set out
To be hands-on and present during the busy service periods
To enforce the Nova Restaurant Health & Safety Policy and Food Safety Management Systems being adhered to in the kitchen
