We re hiring operations manager / personal assistant

We are looking for a highly organised, responsible and results-oriented person to join a residential construction company in London.

Location: Stratford, London
Working hours: Monday Friday
Role: Operations Manager / Personal Assistant to the Director

Main responsibilities:

- Managing procurement and material supply for construction projects
- Requesting and comparing material quotations
- Negotiating and procuring materials at the best possible prices
- Organising and coordinating teams and subcontractors
- Preparing and managing invoices
- Managing company emails and correspondence
- Preparing and sending letters and documents
- Managing the Director s calendar and schedule
- Processing leads and entering information into company systems
- General administration and computer-based tasks
- Providing direct day-to-day support to the Director
- Identifying problems and finding quick, practical solutions
- Other responsibilities required for the smooth operation of a small and dynamic construction company

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a minimum of 12 months experience in the London construction industry, ideally in Operations / Procurement / Administration
- Speaks very good English
- Is highly organised and extremely detail-oriented
- Is responsible and willing to take ownership of results
- Has a strong can-do attitude
- Is motivated to learn, develop and grow professionally
- Can work independently and take initiative
- Has experience managing calendars and assisting a company Director
- Is comfortable working with emails, Excel, documents and various computer systems
- Is comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude Cowork to improve productivity, research information, create documents and automate routine tasks

Russian is a major advantage.
